Transfer Switches

Transfer Switches (ATS & MTS)

Critical power redundancy via Automatic (ATS) and Manual Transfer Switches(MTS). Service Entrance Rated options for seamless backup power transitions.

Series

Series: Manual Transfer Switches (MTS)

Simple, cost-effective, and robust. Our MTS solutions are ideal for non-critical loads where a manual transition to backup power is acceptable.  The robust and cost-effective solution for applications where switching time is not time-critical.

  • Operation: Requires human intervention to mechanically switch the power source from "Utility" to "Generator."

  • Amperage Range: 30A up to 4000A.

  • Voltage Ratings: 240V, 480V, 600V AC.

  • Enclosure Types: NEMA 1, 3R, 4X, and custom rack-mount configurations.

  • Key Features:

    • Mechanical Interlock: Prevents both sources from connecting simultaneously, eliminating dangerous backfeeding.

    • Double-Throw Switch: Three-position design (Source A – OFF – Source B).

  • Best For: Industrial facilities with 24/7 onsite personnel, construction sites, and pumping systems where a brief power gap does not halt the entire process.

Series: Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS)

For critical infrastructure where downtime is not an option. Our ATS units feature high-speed transition logic and are Service Entrance Rated, allowing for seamless switching between utility and generator power.Guaranteed operational continuity for critical infrastructure.

  • Operation: Constantly monitors the utility grid. Upon power failure, it automatically starts the generator and transfers the load without human intervention.

  • Amperage Range: 40A up to 4000A.

  • Transition Types:

    • Open Transition (Break-before-make): A momentary interruption before connecting the new source.

    • Closed Transition (Make-before-break): Seamless transfer without power interruption (synchronized).

    • Delayed Transition: Allows motors to coast down before reconnecting to prevent surges.

  • Special Rating:

    • Service Entrance Rated: Includes an integrated main disconnect, eliminating the need for additional upstream equipment at the service entry.

  • Controller Technology: Advanced microprocessors with event logging, remote diagnostics, and Ethernet/Modbus communication protocols.

  • Best For: Hospitals, Data Centers, Wastewater Treatment Plants, and any industrial process where a single second of downtime results in significant financial loss.
